Tehran – Qom – Mashhad – Shiraz
in this program we put most of the religous attractions in a week to see. needless to mention that even in a week time , nobody can visit all religous attractions in Iran but due to the diversity of these kind of attractions we should make the prgram so that the highlights can be visited . please take a careful look at the details & let us know if you want any other item to be added or omitted . in most of the religous places , it is mandatory for the women to have the full coverage of body . shoes also should be taken off before entering the inside of shrines. more information will be given by the guide .Iran religous Tour
Day 1 : Tehran
Arrival in Tehran Intl Airport. Meet & greet & transfer to the hotel by our team member . depending on the arrival time , a brief city tour of Tehran .
Day 2 : Tehran
Visiting Shah Abdol Azim Shrine (a historical & religious attraction of Abdol Azim who was one of the grandsons of Hassan Bin Ali ( second Shiite imam ) and an Islamic cleric is his time . there are some other graves of Islamic clerics in the complex such as Hamzeh & Taher graves . There Is no exact date for the construction of this monument but in the 9th century A.D it’s been renovated . ) &
Imam Khomeini Tomb ( founder and first supreme leader of iran after islamic revolution in 1979 ) .
afternoon visiting Saleh Masaulem (Saleh is the son of Imam Mousa Kazim – the seventh Shiite imam . It is also very famous for its 800 year old Platanus tree . )
Day 3 : Qom
Drive to Qom . visiting Hazrat Masoumeh Holy Shrine ( one of the holliest places in Iran , grave of fatima masouma – sister of Imam Reza – Shia muslim 8th Imam ) & jamkaran Mosque ( a very sacred mosque near Qom city ) . evening back to Tehran .
Day 4 : Mashhad
Flight to Mashhad . transfer to the hotel . visiting Imam Reza Holy Shrine (largest mosque in the world by dimension and the second largest by capacity. Also contained within the complex are the Goharshad Mosque, a museum, a library and four seminaries )
Day 5: Mashhad
day transfer to imam Reza Holy Shrine by passengers request . afternoon Visiting Ferdowsi Tomb (greatest Iranian poet . he died in 1020 AD & his tomb is 20 km to the mashad city . Ferdowsi tomb is a monument built of Marble in 1930s.)
. Dinner in Shandiz City ( 10 km to Mashad city ) .
Day 6 : Shiraz
Flight to Shiraz . transfer to the hotel . Visiting Shah cheragh Holy Shrine (a funerary monument and mosque in Shiraz, Iran, housing the tomb of the brothers Ahmad and Muhammad ( Shiia muslim’s 8th imam ) .The tombs became celebrated pilgrimage centres in the 14th century when Queen Tashi Khatun erected a mosque and theological school in the vicinity. )
Day 7 : Shiraz – Tehran
Visiting Shiraz city attractions including Hafez tomb ( persian most well known poet – 14th century ) and Saadi tomb ( one of the most famous Persian poets , 13th century )
Afternoon Flight to Tehran . End of the Tour
